We are hosting our fourth fundraising workshop, continuing our mission to support tanglers in need on their journey to becoming a Certified Zentangle Teacher. This year, we are honoured to support Isabelle, a courageous tangler from Beligum whose story you can read below.
For this special event, we warmly welcome Nina Dreher-Göddertz as our guest teacher. Nina has prepared a beautiful tile for us to tangle together, inviting us once again to unite as a community — creating connection, compassion, and positive energy through every stroke.
Over the past years, the Tangling for Solidarity initiative has helped fund several full and partial scholarships for CZT‑EU seminars. This year, all profits will go directly toward Isabelle’s CZT‑EU 10 seminar fee, with any additional donations supporting future participants in need.
Together, we continue this tradition of lifting each other up — one tile, one stroke, one act of solidarity at a time.
Tickets for the workshop can be purchased below and you are able to select the amount you wish to donate to support this inititive.
You will also receive an invoice for your ticket. Since we are a for-profit organization, your contribution does not qualify as a donation for tax purposes. But if you have a Zentangle-related freelance or other business, your ticket fee may qualify as a business expense.
Privacy notice (Zoom): The workshop will take place online via Zoom Meeting. By taking part in the live workshop, you agree to your image and audio might being recorded occasionally.
After booking, you will receive a confirmation email from noreply@ticket.io containing the link to the zoom meeting.
One day after the event, we will send an email with the link to the recording, which will be available for one month following the event.
Isabelle discovered the Zentangle® Method during one of the hardest moments of her life. After her breast cancer diagnosis in 2021, tangling became her sanctuary — a quiet, creative space that brought her peace, connection, and a “no mistakes” philosophy that supported her through treatment and recovery.
Now in full remission, Isabelle volunteers with children who are facing difficult situations. Her dream is to become a Certified Zentangle Teacher (CZT) so she can offer these children comfort, confidence, and a moment of calm through the Zentangle Method. She hopes to share the same sense of hope and resilience that helped her heal.
Because long‑term effects of her illness prevent her from working, the cost of certification has always been out of reach. Through Tangling for Solidarity, we are honoured to support Isabelle’s journey. Every contribution helps her take the next step toward becoming a CZT.
And as always, it is the Zentangle community that makes this possible — a circle of support, creativity, and kindness coming together to help one of our own take the next step on her CZT journey.
At the end of her treatments, Isabelle created a personalized Zentangle card for each nurse who cared for her — a heartfelt way of thanking the medical staff whose support meant so much to her.
