Thank you, Ela
After three years, four CZT-Europe seminars and one CZT Day & Reunion, Ela has left Conzentric for health reasons.
In this blog post, we want to express our gratitude to her.
The sixth CZT-Europe seminar took place online from October 7 - 10, 2022. Tanglers from all over the world attended and we are delighted to welcome 101 new members of the CZT community.
As always, the seminar was very international with people attending from 21 different countries, including first-ever CZTs in Vietnam and Uruguay. The complete country list is as follows:
We are delighted and grateful that we were again able to offer CZT training in the four languages German, English, French and Spanish. Our thanks go to Liz Hicks and Herbert Eißmann (English/German), Oswaldo Burbano and Maria Tovar (Spanish/English) and Juliette Fiessinger and Christelle Mendelsohn (French/English)!
The CZT-Europe seminars are taught by Jennifer and Katharina from Conzentric, but we are also always joined by wonderful guest teachers. It has become tradition for Rick and Maria to join us remotely to teach one session, which is a big highlight. At CZT-EU #6 we had the great pleasure to have Juliette Fiessinger - who has meanwhile translated CZT-EU seminars into French three times (!) - step in front of the camera for a change and teach two sessions. Christelle Mendelsohn, CZT-36, stepped in as French translator during her sessions and did a great job. Oswaldo Burbano also taught a session remotely and Veronika Schroll, CZT-EU #4, demonstrated how to draw one of the seminar tiles as well. We love having a variety of teachers and presenters, whose different personalities and styles make for a richer seminar experience.
And we could not hold the seminars without our technician Christoph, or Ilona, who answers attendees' questions during the seminar and lets us know if we need to slow down, repeat something, or check the audio.
The online seminar takes place in many separate physical locations throughout the world. Nonetheless, we were able to connect with each other through social media, the webinar chat, and Zoom meetings. On the last day, we met up in different Zoom meeting rooms and took a few "class pictures":
Throughout this post we have included a sampling of the beautiful artwork created by our attendees. We sent attendees a tile with the string of the numeral "6" ahead of time. Other tiles were created during seminar. You can view these tiles, and in fact all of our seminar tiles on the Zentangle Mosaic App. Simply put the hashtag #czteu6 into a search. I really encourage you to have a look.
You can download the Zentangle Mosaic App from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Searching and viewing are free, additional features require a subscription.

You love to tangle – but is this enough of a reason to become a CZT? Yes, it is!
