Stepout: Frunky
Frunky – a playful tangle by Katharina Königsbauer
The step-out for July 2024 is Twinning, a tangle deconstructed by Rashim Bhargava CZT from Qatar.
Twinning is a elegant tangle created by lazy S curves, that can be arranged in various ways to create border, circles, or flowers, and adorned with tangle enhancers.
Rashim discovered this tangle whilst with her Zentangle students tangling in a restaurant in Doha. When the bill arrived she discovered at the top was a beautiful minimalist logo design. Rashim was inspired to deconstruct it and create a Step-out for the Zentangle community. She has named the tangle Twinning as it is formed from 2 lazy S curves.
