The passion for Zentangle has led Conzentric to organize and host Zentangle teacher training seminars and other events in Europe since 2018.
Since its inception, Conzentric has certified over 600 Zentangle teachers from around the world in its European seminars. There has always been a close connection and collaboration between Conzentric and the Zentangle founders Rick & Maria, as well as Maria's daughters Molly & Martha, all of whom are part of Zentangle, Inc.
Here are the people who make up our team:
Katharina Königsbauer
Katharina runs Conzentric - with heart, dedication and a great passion for creative relaxation. Since becoming CZT in 2015, she has written books, led seminars and infected countless people with her enthusiasm for Zentangle, and has been running the online shop Tanglekunst, which supplies tanglers all over Europe with materials, for almost as long. And when she's not planning seminars, drawing or selecting new material for her shop? Then she's juggling two children, two cats and the normal creative chaos.
Denisa Hidi
Denisa lives in Austria and has been an integral part of the Tanglekunst Shop since 2022. She ensures that everything runs smoothly in the background - from customer support and material orders to newsletter creation and technical optimisation of the website. She has also been supporting Conzentric's online participants in seminars since 2024, answering their questions and helping them to find their way around.
Jennie Mackenzie
Jennie has been tangling for over 10 years and completed the online seminar CZT-EU 6. Tangling brings her peace and joy, and she enjoys sharing the method with people of all ages, especially children. Jennie is English and now lives in the beautiful German 'Wine Street', where she likes to go hiking through the vineyard and forest with her family and dogs. Jennie has been working with Conzentric since 2024 supporting with the preparation and organisation of the seminars.
Nina Dreher-Göddertz
Nina is CZT-EU 4 and a passionate practitioner of the Zentangle method. Since 2021, she has been teaching internationally. A longtime fan of pen, paper, and all things crafty, Nina brings creativity into everything she does. Before becoming a certified Zentangle teacher, she worked for many years as a health and fitness trainer. In 2024, she joined the Conzentric team at the CZT-EU seminar 8 for the first time as a lecturer. When she’s not tangling, you’ll find her outdoors, enjoying time with her family, her dog, and her horse.
Juliette Fiessinger & Christelle Mendelssohn
Since CZT-EU 4, participants have been delighted with Juliette's French translations. With her brilliant skills, Juliette can not only translate flawlessly in real-time but also incorporates numerous explanations and hints. Equally vibrant and passionate, she works as a lecturer for Conzentric. Christelle translates into French while Juliette teaches.
María Tovar & Oswaldo Burbano
With their simultaneous translation into Spanish, María and Oswaldo have been supporting participants since CZT-EU Seminar 5. Both also work as lecturers for Conzentric, where they bring their great passion and expertise. Additionally, María beautifully calligraphs the CZT certificates.
